MS/HS Announcements
1. Any 8th – 12th grade boy interested in playing spring baseball for Winner/Colome needs to get ahold of Austin Calhoon to get signed up. If you stop in the office, I can get you his contact information.
2. Prom sign-up sheet is in the office. This is for grand march, as well as after prom and the legion meal.
3. All students attending the Littau bull sale. Due to an unforeseen issue at the Littau’s that arose, we have to adjust and will be attending on Tuesday, March 7th.
4. A March Madness boys’ basketball camp will be held Mondays and Thursdays starting March 6th and running through March 30th. This is for boys grades 3-7 from 3:25 to 5:30pm. Basic basketball skills will be taught.
5. After school Tuesday March 7th, BBB players need to bring their clean uniforms to hand in at the gym.
6. Menu Change: March 8th: Turkey Gravy, March 9th: Hot dog on a Bun, March 23rd: Tacos.
7. Track for 6-12th starts Wednesday, March 8! First meet will be an indoor meet at Mt. Marty on Thursday, March 23.
8. Music Boosters are selling fruit from now until March 8! Contact a music student or Cheyenne Heath at the school if you would like to order!
9. End of 3rd quarter is March 10th.
10. Any student that is enrolled in an agriculture course either within Colome Junior/Senior High School or through online learning is eligible to participate in FFA events. A google classroom has been created to distribute announcements about upcoming opportunities. If you would like to be added to this classroom, please email Mrs. DeJong.
11. LifeServe is having a blood drive March 22nd and 23rd in Winner. If you are interested, and are 16 and older you can donate blood. There is a one-time parental permission form for 16 and 17 year olds. It you are interested you can make an appointment online by going to their website. If you donate 3 times while in high school, you can wear a cord at graduation. Just be aware girls are only allowed to donate every 6 months.
